FROSH COACHES

CHRIS HALL
HEAD COACH
Chris Hall enters his second year with the Cougars and is the new Freshman Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator this year. Chris has been coaching for over 25 years and has coached flag, high school, semi-pro, youth and even spent 6 years helping the East Team in the East West Shrine Bowl. Chris was an All-American Linebacker at Azusa Pacific University and the MVP for the NAL back in 1990 when he played for crosstown rival, Shasta Wolves. Chris credits much of his success in life and business with the lessons he learned playing football in the hot summer days of Redding, CA. He loves working with the kids and seeing the light bulbs go off when they put concepts into action. Chris focuses on building good men, as much as winning athletes.
Chris is a Walk-On Coach and he works as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. Chris has a son, J.T. Hall, who will play on the Freshman squad this year. He also has a 17 year old daughter who is a Junior at Shasta High. Coach Hall looks forward to working with the young men and developing a work ethic and wining attitude that will forever benefit them.

JOE JONES
ASSISTANT COACH
I have had the opportunity to coach youth football for the past 10 years. During this time I have built lots of meaningful relationships with so many players, coaches and parents. My favorite part of coaching is being able to witness the progression of each player and the confidence that’s built after achieving their goals. This will be my first year coaching high school football and I’m excited to be a part of the Foothill Cougar family.
